According to the observatory<\/strong> set up by Ramsay G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Sant\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> whose results were presented at the Health Communication Festival<\/strong><\/a> of Deauville November 25<\/strong> The level of stress perceived by the French is constantly increasing.<\/p>\n

The Ramsay General Health Foundation<\/strong> working in the prevention field<\/strong> in health<\/strong> wished to understand the medical consequences of stress<\/strong> in order to improve<\/strong> the care<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An original methodology<\/h2>\n

This observatory required, on the one hand, the intervention ofOpinion Way<\/a><\/strong> for the realization of a survey aimed at defining the relationship between the French and stress<\/strong> and on the other hand, the development of a medical cartography<\/strong> by Kap Code<\/strong><\/a> due to the study of scientific publications<\/strong> dealing with the subject as well as exploration of the testimonies<\/strong> the general public on social networks and<\/strong> specialized forums<\/strong> to identify the consequences of stress.<\/p>\n

The bibliographic study<\/h2>\n

The search of existing scientific publications on this subject allowed the identification of 633,338 results <\/strong>on the request \"stress\"<\/strong> without time limit and 396,439 over the last 10 years. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The limitation of the request to \"psychological stress\" over 10 years<\/strong> has made it possible to raise more than 56,000 items<\/strong>from prestigious academic institutions such as \" Yale university<\/a> \"<\/strong> or the \" King's college London<\/a> \". <\/strong>These research centers focus primarily on the impacts of stress on psychological syndromes (24%), cancers (22%) but also overweight and diabetes (20%).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The study of the general public's exchanges<\/h2>

The study of the perception of general public<\/strong> the stress was achieved thanks to the solution Detec't<\/strong><\/a> which allowedexplore and analyze<\/strong> the content<\/strong> published at of the last 10 years <\/strong>on the various French social networks and forums<\/strong>. This analysis allowed us to identify, first of all, the concepts associated with stress<\/strong> such as neuropsychiatric disorders (34 %)<\/strong> or even general disorders (24 %).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A study of these results<\/strong> has allowed us to identify the consequences of \"stress<\/strong> on health.<\/p>

The mental health is represented as follows<\/strong> up to 56% (sleep disorders, burn-out and emotional distress),<\/strong> Then come the more general disorders such as asthenia or tinnitus.<\/p>

Pathologies related to diabetes and overweight<\/strong> count for 13% of mentions<\/strong>.<\/p>
