Season #1 of Kap Code breakfasts: a success<\/h2>

With more than 115 registrants<\/strong>the Kap Code team was able to share its know-how around social network analysis <\/strong>during a convivial moment. During the Kap Code breakfasts, different actors of the health field met to meet, share and exchange around this issue, at the heart of current social challenges.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. St\u00e9phane Sch\u00fcck then took the floor to give an overview of the new Real World Data<\/em> from social networks, particularly in the field of health. He continued his intervention with the presentation of the tool Detec't<\/a>the social network research and analysis solution developed by Kap Code. To finish, different case studies realized with Detec't were presented in order to cover all the possible uses of our tool. The detection of drug misuse<\/strong>the monitoring of weak signals in the context of pharmacovigilance<\/strong>the follow-up of the care pathway<\/strong> and thequality of life assessment<\/strong> are all practical cases developed around Detec't.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A #2 season to come<\/h2>

Due to the success of these editions, other meetings will be organized starting in September. For the second season of Kap Code breakfasts, we propose to address specialized themes, in order to deepen each use of the Detec't tool.<\/p>

The 1er<\/sup> episode will take place on September 27. It will focus on the detection of drug use and misuse<\/strong> in social networks. Indeed, every year, the misuse of medicines causes the death of 10,000 people and more than a hundred thousand hospitalizations. It is therefore essential to know these misuses, to measure them and to follow their evolution in order to be able to take the appropriate measures.<\/p>

The 2nd<\/sup> episode, to be discovered on November 7, will again be a general presentation around social network analysis with the Detec't solution<\/strong> for those who could not attend the previous meetings.<\/p>

Finally, to end 2018, a 3\u00e8me<\/sup> episode will be held on December 4 to detail the use of the Detec't tool in monitoring of weak signals<\/strong> in social networks. Adverse drug reactions are numerous but are not always mentioned to doctors by patients. However, patients exchange a lot about this on social networks, creating a huge source of information that needs to be exploited.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
