After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/articles\/ecosysteme-astrazeneca-microsoft\/\">the integration of Detec't into the AI Factory for Health at the end of 2019<\/a>it is the turn of <strong>Connect'inh<\/strong> to be promoted by integrating the <strong>IBM's Scale Zone Health.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><h2>Return on the different activities of Kap Code<\/h2><p>In 2014, new technologies were gaining momentum and the pharmaceutical industry was beginning a paradigm shift. These opportunities, conducive to market development, led the leaders of the CRO Kappa Sant\u00e9 to open an innovation pole dedicated to e-health. After two years of existence, this pole has been detached to give birth to our start-up: Kap Code. Innovation is therefore at the heart of our DNA and has a major impact on our various activities.<\/p><p>Indeed, one of our differentiating aspects is our ability to develop several activities in parallel in different fields: real-life data, chronic pathologies and digital transformation.<\/p><h3><strong>Patient support program<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>Kap Code is developing two solutions with its team of engineers, health professionals and marketing experts: Connect'inh and W'asm. These two products aim to improve the lives of asthma patients and assist health professionals in their management.<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/connectinh\/\">Connect'inh<\/a> is a mobile application linked via Bluetooth to a device that measures the intake of inhaled medication. Connect'inh is the first connected, personalized and community-based solution dedicated to asthma and is currently being evaluated for optimization.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/wasm\/\">W'asm<\/a> is a personalized support program to improve the knowledge of asthma patients. The objective is to follow the patient over time by helping him\/her to take his\/her treatment more effectively, and to provide his\/her doctor with a good overview of this follow-up.<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>Real-life data<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>The tool <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/medical\/\">Detec't<\/a>medical social media listening solution, brings together a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, project managers and healthcare professionals. Together, they use artificial intelligence and NLP techniques to analyze the patient experience by translating vernacular language into medical ontologies.<\/p><h3><strong>Digital transformation<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>On a more ad hoc basis, Kap Code also offers support to pharmaceutical laboratories in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/digital-transformation\/\">digital transformations<\/a>. Last year we have for example <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/articles\/chatbots-health\/\">evaluated the place of chatbots in health<\/a> with Sanofi and Orange and conducted training on the role of digital in healthcare.<\/p><h2>Businesses that grow through our ecosystem<\/h2><p>Working as a start-up in such a variety of fields is both a challenge and an opportunity for us. This multidisciplinarity relies on our ability to call upon experts in the different environments and fields we explore, both in our teams and in our partnerships.<\/p><p>Whether for technical, health or scalability aspects, we collaborate with companies of all sizes, from Big Pharmas to start-ups.<\/p><p>We are convinced that it is this ecosystem of partners that gives Kap Code its current value and this is why we often highlight in our news the collaborative aspect of our projects and the importance we give to our ecosystem.<\/p><h2>Our new collaboration with IBM and Chiesi<\/h2><p>2020 could not have started better for us than with this announcement: after having collaborated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapcode.fr\/en\/articles\/chatbots-health\/\">Sanofi and Orange<\/a> Last year, after the integration of the Microsoft x AstraZeneca partnership in December, we will participate in season 5 of the IBM Scale Zone in partnership with the Chiesi laboratory.<\/p><p>This new collaboration looks promising as it aims to accelerate Kap Code's respiratory activity. It concerns our Connect'inh solution with the objective of scalability, thus favouring wider access to patients and thus the expansion of Kap Code.<\/p><p>During the next 6 months, Kap Code will aim to accelerate its development in respiratory diseases and open innovation around therapeutic compliance through the services offered by the Scale Zone Sant\u00e9.
