The global coronavirus epidemic is a major health crisis<\/strong>. The current period of confinement experienced by the French population and many countries in the face of the coronavirus epidemic is unprecedented and the colossal medical and societal challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>

Numerous initiatives are emerging, mobilizing all the players in research, field epidemiology, human and social sciences and drug evaluation<\/strong>. The urgency of having an effective treatment in the short term and a vaccine in the longer term requires us to make a collective effort and to put our resources and capacities at the service of the community, in our respective fields of expertise.<\/p>

Kappa Sant\u00e9<\/strong> and Kap Code<\/strong> are specialized in analysis of real-life health data<\/a>. In this context, we make our resources available to institutions<\/strong> and we are setting up a new data production on containment<\/strong> by setting up and monitoring an e-cohort of confined patients with regular and standardized evaluation of mental health and PRO indicators. This cohort is set up with our digital epidemiological tools.<\/p>

These research areas are with a new open initiative that we are launching today<\/strong> by developing a platform focused on epidemiological data related to COVID 19 and articulated around 2 axes:<\/p>

1. An enriched mapping of available open data and scientific initiatives around the epidemic<\/strong>
<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Many dashboards on the epidemic are available (John Hopkins University, Singapore, French health authorities...) gathering the number of confirmed cases, deaths, hospitalization figures and other indicators. Our mapping proposes a weekly synthesis of these indicators and a centralization of the available information.<\/p>

2. An extemporaneous analysis of social networks<\/strong>
<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The analysis of social networks is particularly important in view of the situation in order to identify the difficulties linked to the containment, the most frequent discussion themes around the coronavirus and their evolution in time, the weight of the influencers, the medical concepts expressed and to draw up a typology of the Internet users expressing themselves. Fake news will also be identified and followed.<\/p>

In addition to our internal teams who are mobilizing for this initiative, we are developing the Epilogue platform and its work with our historical partners: the research team INSERM<\/a> by Christophe Tzourio (Bordeaux Population Health<\/a>), the research team INSERM<\/a> by Anita Burgun (Cordeliers Research Center<\/a>), Cap Digital<\/a> and PITS<\/a> (represented by Charles Huot), the Data scientists club datacraft <\/a>(Isabelle Hillali) and the law firm Pons & Carr\u00e8re<\/a> (Caroline Henry).<\/p>

This consortium is expected to grow and be enriched by new partners with 3 ways of collaboration:<\/strong><\/p>
